🧪 Liquid Metal Viscosity Lab (2D)

A particle fluid of molten metal — drag viscosity, surface tension and temperature to watch cohesion, damping and thermal jitter reshape the droplet in real time, then stir it directly with the mouse.

This 2D companion trades the 3D version's reflective noise-morphed blob for a real particle fluid: roughly 150 particles held together by short-range cohesion and repulsion, damped by a viscosity term, and agitated by temperature, so the sliders visibly change how the droplet flows, beads or spreads rather than just how it looks.

⚙ Under the hood

~150-particle 2D fluid with pairwise cohesion/repulsion (surface tension), an SPH-style viscosity damping term, and an Arrhenius-style temperature-dependent effective viscosity; drag the canvas to stir.
