Kick Donut Physics 2D — Impulse, Rolling Friction & Crate Collision

2D side-view companion to the kicked-donut 3D simulator: tune kick force, launch angle and surface, kick, and watch impulse-momentum, rolling friction and a real crate collision update live on speed, momentum and energy readouts.

This 2D companion strips the kicked-donut 3D simulator down to a labelled side-view lab: the same impulse-momentum kick, projectile arc, surface-dependent bounce and rolling friction, plus a genuine one-dimensional momentum-conserving collision when the donut reaches a wooden crate. Three real controls — kick force, launch angle and ground surface (concrete, rubber or ice, each with its own friction and restitution coefficient) — drive the physics directly, and a live readout panel turns speed, momentum, kinetic energy, air time and peak height from animation into numbers you can read off mid-flight, mid-bounce and after impact.
