💨 Bee Smoker Inspection: Balancing Smoke and Alarm Pheromone

Interactive 3D bee-smoker inspection simulator: a real exponential alarm-pheromone / smoke-masking model shows how too little smoke lets a hive's alarm signal build toward stings, while too much triggers panic and drives bees off the frames.

⚙ Under the hood

An open-hive inspection modelled as a real exponential-decay control loop: alarm pheromone A rises from hive disturbance and is masked by current smoke concentration S (dA/dt = D₀ − k·A − m·S·A), while S itself decays between puffs (dS/dt = −kₛ·S). Too little smoke lets alarm climb toward stings; sustained over-smoking builds a separate panic term that scatters bees off the frames. The player manages puff strength and timing across a timed inspection session.
