⚙ Under the hood

Block-and-tackle mechanical advantage with sheave losses, winch drum layering, mud breakout resistance, snatch (kinetic strap vs steel) peak loads, deadman and screw anchors from Rankine passive pressure, anchor force 2T cos(alpha/2) and a weakest-link check, on a Blender-modelled generic recovery truck and a stuck civilian tipper. Unlike the mud-mobility lab (terramechanics of the vehicle), this one is about the rope system, the anchor and the failure energy.
