⚙️ Heavy Tracked Chassis Lab: Torsion-Bar Suspension, Track Tension and Steering

The mechanism of a generic heavy tracked carrier: torsion-bar wheel stations, track tension and sag, sprocket polygon effect, double-differential skid steering and the drivetrain, with a Blender-modelled cutaway. (The separate mobility lab covers soil sinkage and ground pressure; this one is the chassis mechanism.)

⚙ Under the hood

The mechanism of a generic unarmed heavy tracked carrier, shown as a Blender-modelled cutaway: torsion-bar wheel stations and hull pitch over a bump course, track tension, sag and the sprocket polygon effect, regenerative double-differential skid steering and the diesel drivetrain, each checked against an independent number. Unlike the tracked-vehicle mobility lab (soil sinkage, ground pressure, gradeability on soft ground), this lab explains how the chassis works inside.
