Wastewater Treatment Train
Interactive 3D simulation of a wastewater treatment train: watch contaminant load fall as flow passes through mechanical screening, biological (aerobic) treatment and chemical clarification, and read the resulting effluent quality live.
Environmental engineers design treatment plants as a chain of stages, each removing a different class of pollutant: mechanical screening for solids, biological aeration for dissolved organics, and chemical dosing for the fine particles and pathogens that remain. This simulation visualizes a full treatment train as flowing particles that visibly clear as they pass through, and lets you toggle any stage off, change the influent load, flow rate, aeration intensity and coagulant dose, and watch the resulting effluent quality respond in real time.
Interactive 3D simulation of a wastewater treatment train: contaminant-carrying flow passes through mechanical screening, biological (aerobic) treatment and chemical clarification, with live effluent quality, BOD removal and turbidity readouts.
