🧪 Energy Technology Energy Efficiency Simulation

Interactive 3D building-envelope simulator: tune wall, roof and window U-values plus air infiltration on a house model and watch real heat-loss physics (Q = U·A·ΔT) drive live heat-flux particles, instantaneous loss in watts, and estimated annual heating energy and cost.

Every home constantly loses heat through its walls, roof, windows and air leaks, and the rate at which it does so is not a mystery — it follows the same Q = U·A·ΔT conduction law an energy auditor uses on a real building. This simulator renders a 3D house and lets you tune the U-value of each envelope surface plus the air-infiltration rate and outdoor temperature, computing the total instantaneous heat loss in watts live from the underlying physics. Orange particle streams visualize exactly where the energy is escaping and how fast, while a second readout converts the same numbers into an estimated annual heating energy bill using a standard heating-degree-day calculation, making the trade-off between insulation cost and energy savings concrete.
