Synthetic natural gas (SNG) is made by feeding captured CO₂ and electrolytic hydrogen into a catalytic reactor, where the Sabatier reaction converts them into methane and water. This simulation streams individual CO₂ and H₂ "molecules" through a reactor tube with a fixed catalyst bed, reacting them into CH₄ and H₂O at a rate governed by temperature, feed ratio, flow rate and catalyst health — exactly the levers a real power-to-gas plant tunes to maximise pipeline-grade methane output.
