A 3D wind farm of nine turbines sits inside a stochastically evolving wind field, driven by an Ornstein–Uhlenbeck mean-reverting process that mimics real gust behaviour. Each turbine converts the instantaneous wind speed into electrical power through the standard cubic power curve used in real turbine datasheets, spinning its blades and tilting its nacelle to face the wind. Alongside the physical farm, a persistence-decay forecast model predicts power output a chosen number of hours ahead, and a live strip chart tracks actual versus forecast power along with a running Mean Absolute Error — the exact metric grid operators use to grade renewable-generation forecasts feeding into network balancing.
