Heliostat Field & Receiver: Cosine-Efficiency Map (2D)

Interactive 2D top-down map of a CSP heliostat field: every mirror is colour-coded live by its real cosine efficiency, alongside a receiver thermal gauge and a rolling power/temperature strip chart — tune sun elevation, field size, irradiance and turbine draw.

This 2D companion drives the same heliostat-tracking law and receiver thermal balance as the 3D tower simulation, but reads them out directly: each mirror in the top-down field map is colour-coded by its real cosine efficiency (computed from the same sun-bisector geometry), so the asymmetric hot and cold rings of a real CSP field are visible at a glance, alongside a live strip chart of receiver temperature and electrical output.
