🧪 Educational Policy Simulation
Interactive district-level policy simulator: allocate a fixed per-pupil budget across class-size caps, teacher salary, and student-support programs, and watch achievement, dropout rate and teacher counts respond in a live 3D classroom grid.
This simulation puts you in charge of a fixed 840-student school district's budget. Every policy lever — per-pupil funding, the class-size cap, teacher salary, and how much of the materials budget goes to student-support programs — trades off against the others under one shared pot of money: a lower class-size cap needs more teachers, which eats into the funding left for classroom materials and interventions. The 3D district view renders every classroom as a cluster of desks colored by its own achievement outcome, with one teacher marker per classroom, so you can see structural policy choices reshape a whole district in real time rather than reading it off a spreadsheet.
This simulation allows users to explore the complexities of educational policy-making, demonstrating how decisions impact schools and students. It highlights the importance of evidence-based strategies.
