Differentiated Instruction: Readiness Gap Simulator
Interactive 3D classroom of students with different starting readiness levels: switch between one-size-fits-all and differentiated instruction to see how each affects the whole class's growth and engagement.
A classroom rarely starts on equal footing — students arrive with different prior knowledge, and a single fixed lesson pitched at the "middle" of the class leaves some bored and others lost. This simulator models a room of students as glowing bars whose height tracks individual mastery, growing under either one-size-fits-all instruction pitched at the class average, or differentiated instruction that continuously matches each student's own productive-challenge zone. Toggle between the two modes, widen the starting readiness spread, and watch whether the class's outcomes pull apart or rise together.
