🔬 What It Demonstrates

Honey is usually the largest volume product but not always the best-paid per kilogram. As diversification rises, a slice of comb, propolis, pollen and royal jelly is diverted from raw honey into higher-margin, separately sold products — shifting the mix of where an apiary's income actually comes from.

💡 Did You Know?

Royal jelly and propolis tincture can sell for ten to twenty times more per kilogram than jarred honey — small quantities that still add real income once processed and packaged for market.
