🍯 Combining Bee Products: How Small Producers Build Value-Added Lines
Interactive 3D product-bundling table where mixing honey, propolis, pollen and beeswax into simulated combined products shows projected margin and market appeal changing.
A 3D product-bundling table where honey, propolis, pollen and beeswax are mixed into a shared vat, so you can see how blend ratio and chosen product line drive a combined product's projected margin and market appeal.
🔬 What It Demonstrates
Margin is a weighted average of each raw ingredient's processing margin, scaled by the pricing premium of the chosen product line; appeal blends ingredient fit for that product with how balanced ("diverse") the recipe is — a proxy for why bundling often out-earns selling raw commodities.
🎮 How to Use
Drag the four ingredient-share sliders (auto-normalised to 100%) and pick a product line — gift set, skincare bar, wellness tincture or artisan blend. Watch the vat's colour and fill level change, and the margin and appeal columns rise or fall live.
💡 Did You Know?
Propolis commands a much higher price per gram than raw honey, but most buyers have no direct use for it on its own — folding a small amount into a bundled, branded product is often the only practical route small producers have to capture that value.
