🧪 Supply Chain Supply Chain Risk Simulation
Interactive 3D model of supplier relationship management: watch trust scores evolve from delivery performance, allocate order volume across suppliers under single-source vs diversified strategies, and see how relationship depth buffers a supply chain against random disruption shocks.
Supplier relationship management is fundamentally a control problem: a buyer never observes a supplier's true reliability directly, only a noisy stream of delivery outcomes, and has to decide how much order volume to entrust to each partner based on that history. This simulation renders a small supplier network as an orbiting 3D constellation around a central buyer hub, evolving each supplier's trust score by exponential smoothing of realised delivery performance and reallocating order volume every round under either a diversified or single-source strategy. Random disruption events knock individual suppliers offline for a few rounds, letting you see directly how relationship depth and sourcing strategy determine whether a shock ripples through the whole chain or stays contained to one partner.
Explore supplier management strategies to build and maintain relationships, ensuring supply chain resilience.
