🧪 Streaming Monetization Simulation
Interactive 3D model of how a live-streaming platform turns concurrent viewers into money: ad impressions, subscription conversions and the platform's revenue-share cut flow as animated coins into a streamer tank and a platform tank, with live hourly payout readouts.
A live-streaming channel's income comes from two independent pipelines that the platform runs in parallel and then splits with the broadcaster: ad impressions sold against concurrent viewers, and recurring subscriptions converted from a slice of that same audience. This simulator models both pipelines explicitly — concurrent viewers, ad CPM, subscription conversion rate and the streamer's revenue-share percentage all feed live hourly formulas — and renders the result as an animated 3D economy: viewers orbit a broadcast tower, ad and subscription coins fire off toward two rising tanks, and the tank levels track the real dollar split between streamer and platform second by second.
This simulation explores the complex dynamics of revenue generation within online streaming platforms. It demonstrates how factors like viewer engagement, content popularity, and advertising rates influence a streamer's income. The core principle involves understanding the economics of digital media distribution.
