This 2D companion drives the same four auction mechanisms as the 3D version — English ascending, Dutch descending, first-price sealed-bid and Vickrey second-price — through a plain canvas dashboard built for reading the numbers rather than orbiting a scene: a side panel exposes auction type, bidder count, the value distribution, round count and playback speed, bidder cards reveal each private valuation against the bid actually submitted once a round resolves, and a running revenue-history chart with a live average line lets you watch the Revenue Equivalence Theorem hold — or fail to — as efficiency and winner surplus accumulate across many rounds.
