🧠 Behavioral Economics: Loss Aversion & Anchoring Bias (2D)
2D prospect-theory lab: plot the subjective value function live, drag the anchor and watch a simulated crowd's estimates get pulled off the true value by anchoring bias.
This 2D companion drives the same prospect-theory mathematics as the 3D version through a flat plotted reading built for the numbers rather than an orbitable scene: a side panel exposes risk curvature α, loss aversion λ, the anchor / reference point R, crowd anchoring strength and the current outcome x, a live chart plots the kinked value function — concave for gains, steeper and convex for losses — and a scatter band beneath it shows a simulated crowd of independent estimators whose guesses visibly drift from the true value toward the anchor as anchoring strength rises, making the anchoring-and-adjustment heuristic directly readable instead of implied.
