A 3D beehive under siege from mice, hornets and birds — toggle a mouse guard, entrance reducer and bird netting to see which physical barriers actually stop each intruder.

🔬 What It Demonstrates

Each mechanical defence matches a specific threat: mouse guards block rodents by hole size, a narrowed entrance helps guard bees repel wasps and hornets, and netting alone keeps woodpeckers off the box.

🎮 How to Use

Toggle the mouse guard and bird netting, drag the entrance reducer, and pick which intruder to test. Watch attempts play out live and track your running defence rate in the side panel.

💡 Did You Know?

A single mouse nesting in a hive over winter can destroy multiple frames of comb for warmth and food, even though it never eats a single bee.
