Photosynthesis & Ecosystem Productivity (2D)

This 2D companion drives the identical C3/C4/CAM light-, CO2- and temperature-response curves as the 3D canopy version, rendered instead as a bar chart built for reading the physiology rather than orbiting a scene: a side panel exposes the pathway switch and the four environment sliders, a row of leaf-cluster bars rises and changes colour with instantaneous carbon gain, a sun/moon dot sweeps an arc overhead to drive the day/night cycle, and a scrolling line graph beneath the canopy plots average GPP, NPP and respiration over the last few simulated minutes — making the productivity trend, and the moment CAM's malate store starts refilling after dark, directly legible instead of implied by bar height alone.
