Worm Bin Tolerance Landscape: Temperature vs Moisture
2D parameter-space simulator of vermicomposting worm population dynamics: a temperature/moisture growth-rate heatmap shows every combination the colony could face at once, with a live marker for the current bin conditions and a scrolling strip chart of population, waste and castings.
Vermicomposting turns kitchen and garden waste into finished compost using a live colony of red-wiggler earthworms instead of the thermophilic microbial heat of a traditional pile. This 2D companion to the tank simulator draws the identical logistic population model — gated by bell-shaped temperature and moisture tolerance curves and a hard cold/heat-kill threshold — as a growth-rate heatmap spanning the full temperature/moisture parameter space, with a live marker for the bin's current condition and a scrolling strip chart of population, waste and castings. Instead of watching worms wander a rendered bin at a single setting, you see the whole tolerance landscape the colony could occupy at once, and drag the current-condition dot across it directly.
