Anonymity networks like Tor don't hide traffic by making it unreadable forever — they hide it by wrapping it in nested encryption layers, one per relay, so no single relay ever knows both who sent a message and what it says. This simulator renders that hop-by-hop layer-peeling in real 3D: packets travel from client through a chain of relays to a destination, visibly shedding one onion layer at each hop until only the final leg runs in cleartext. The real security question, though, isn't the crypto — it's whether a passive adversary watching the entry and exit relays can correlate packet timing to deanonymize a flow without ever decrypting it. Tune the number of relay hops, the real traffic rate, injected cover traffic, and per-hop timing jitter, and watch a live correlation-confidence readout show exactly how each defense degrades the adversary's ability to link sender and receiver.
