Smartphone battery life is a real accounting problem: every subsystem — the screen backlight, the GPS receiver, the cellular/Wi‑Fi radio and background CPU work — draws its own current in milliamps, and those draws sum into the total load the battery has to supply. This simulator lets you toggle each activity independently and adjust its intensity, then integrates the resulting current draw against a real milliamp‑hour battery capacity to show exactly how fast the battery drains and how long it can last. It's the same load model that powers a phone's built‑in battery‑usage screen, and the same one sustainable mobile design tries to shrink — dimmer screens, coarser location sampling, throttled background sync — to squeeze more runtime out of the same cell.
