🧪 Photography Photo Editing Simulation
Interactive photo-editing simulator: grade a rendered 3D scene in real time with exposure, contrast, saturation and white-balance controls, backed by the same math a RAW photo editor uses, with a live luminance histogram.
This simulator renders a small 3D landscape — mountains, an instanced forest and a shimmering lake under a low sun — and lets you grade it in real time using the same per-pixel math a RAW photo editor runs: exposure in stops, contrast around mid-gray, saturation via luma blending, and white balance as an opposed red/blue channel scale. A live histogram and clipped-highlight/shadow readouts show exactly what each slider does to the tonal distribution, the same feedback loop a photographer watches while dialing in a shot.
This simulation demonstrates the basic principles of image manipulation, allowing users to adjust brightness, contrast, and color balance to alter the appearance of a digital photograph. It explores how these adjustments affect the perceived visual qualities of an image.
