2D attentional-blink simulator: a live plot of the attentional-gate probability curve over time, a scrolling RSVP letter strip, and an accuracy-vs-lag histogram, all driven by the same Monte Carlo gate model as the classic cognitive-psychology paradigm.
This is the 2D counterpart to the 3D Attentional Blink simulator: instead of a camera flying through a stream of item meshes, the same resource-depletion gate model (Raymond, Shapiro & Arnell, 1992; Chun & Potter, 1995) is drawn directly as a function graph. A live curve plots the probability of correctly reporting T2 as a function of time since T1, a scrolling letter strip plays the actual RSVP sequence for each trial, and a bar chart accumulates empirical accuracy against the theoretical curve as you run trials — all computed from the identical gate(t) formula, sampled the same Monte Carlo way.
