BECCS Negative-Emissions Power Plant
Interactive 3D BECCS (Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage) plant: tune biomass feed rate, amine-scrubbing capture efficiency and plant capacity factor, and watch CO2 flow from combustion through the capture column into a geological storage reservoir while net negative emissions accumulate.
Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS) is one of the few technologies that can pull net CO2 out of the atmosphere while still generating power. This simulator models a full plant cycle in 3D — a biomass field, a combustion boiler, an amine absorption capture column and an underground storage reservoir — with animated particles carrying CO2 mass along the real flow path. Tune the biomass feed rate, capture efficiency and capacity factor, run simulated years forward, and watch the cumulative net-negative-emissions counter and reservoir fill level respond to a governing mass-balance equation drawn straight from real BECCS engineering.
