🧪 Climate Carbon Footprint Simulation
Interactive 3D simulation of a per-person 1.5°C carbon budget: tune diet, transport, flights and home-energy choices, watch a filling atmosphere and a draining budget tank, and see how many years your lifestyle's footprint gives you before your share of the global carbon budget runs out.
This simulation turns everyday lifestyle choices into a single, tangible number: how many years your current footprint lets you live within your personal share of the remaining global 1.5°C carbon budget. Four sliders — diet, car travel, flights and home-energy source — combine into an annual CO2e total that drives a live 3D scene: a rising stream of CO2 particles leaving a globe, an atmosphere shell that thickens and reddens as emissions accumulate, and a budget tank that visibly drains once you press play. It is a compact, physically-grounded way to see which choices actually move the needle, and by how much, rather than treating "carbon footprint" as an abstract slogan.
This is an interactive 2D simulation exploring climate carbon footprint simulation.
