Ice-Albedo Feedback Loop (3D)
3D orbit-controlled companion to the Ice-Albedo Feedback Loop: the same albedo physics driving a real polar globe you orbit, with reflected and absorbed sunlight rendered as live 3D ray particles.
This 3D companion drives the exact same ice-fraction and albedo equations as the 2D Ice-Albedo Feedback Loop, but renders them on a real polar globe you can orbit and zoom instead of a flat cross-section: two ice caps — sized by the live ice fraction, not a fixed image — sit over a dark ocean sphere, a directional sun casts real shadows across the terminator, and a stream of color-coded ray particles shows incoming sunlight landing on the surface, some reflecting away when they strike bright ice and most vanishing into the dark ocean once it dominates. Raise the temperature anomaly and toggle the feedback loop to watch the ice caps visibly retreat around the whole sphere, not just along one slice.
3D ice-albedo feedback lab: the same clamp-based ice-fraction/albedo/absorption equations as the 2D model, rendered as a rebuildable polar ice-cap geometry over an ocean sphere, with a directional sun, shadow-casting ice, and reflect/absorb sunlight particles driven by the live per-latitude albedo.
