🧪 Organocatalysis Design Bench (2D)
A flat top-down 2D reaction vessel running the same binding/conversion kinetics as the 3D version: substrate molecules diffuse toward small organocatalyst sites, bind, convert to product, and release — tune loading, affinity and temperature live.
This 2D companion runs the same binding/release kinetics as the 3D lab, drawn as a flat top-down reaction vessel: substrate particles (blue) drift until they contact a catalyst site (amber hexagon), bind, convert after a temperature-dependent delay, and release as product (green). The flat view makes individual binding events easier to follow than the orbiting 3D scene.
2D Michaelis-Menten-style kinetics: substrates random-walk toward fixed catalyst sites, bind with a probability set by affinity, and convert to product after a time set by the reaction-temperature multiplier — the reaction velocity readout follows v = Vmax·S/(Km+S).
