This simulator visualizes that economy inside a single cell, with glucose molecules drifting toward glowing mitochondria that convert them into bursts of ATP. Adjust activity level, oxygen availability and glucose supply to see the cell shift between efficient aerobic respiration and the faster but costlier anaerobic fermentation pathway, watching lactate accumulate exactly as it does in an overworked muscle.
