⚙ Under the hood

Blender-modelled honeybees dance on a vertical comb while the dance angle is computed from real solar geometry (latitude, date, time) and the run duration from a distance calibration. Unlike the existing waggle-dance demos it adds an agent-based colony that forages with and without dance recruitment on a patchy meadow (compared with the ideal free distribution), a decode-the-dance game and the isoperimetry of the hexagonal comb.
