🐜 Ant Colony Lab: The Double-Bridge Experiment, Pheromone Decisions and Fire-Ant Rafts
Blender-modelled 3D ants run the exact ant-by-ant Deneubourg double-bridge model (with mean-field ODE, fixed points and a Monte-Carlo ensemble, plus the late-short-branch failure of positive feedback), a pheromone-grid foraging field with obstacles, and a fire-ant raft buoyancy/packing tab. Unlike the existing double-bridge and fire-ant-raft pages it combines closed-form checks, evaporation and explorer re-adaptation, an agent-based field and raft statics in one lab.
