This 2D companion draws the same honeybee foraging loop as the 3D hive, flattened into a side-on meadow instead of a free-orbit scene: bees leave a wooden hive, cross the field to a flower, hover briefly to gather nectar, and fly back to deposit it at the entrance before resting and repeating the trip. The bee-count, speed, wind, flower-count and time-of-day controls drive the same underlying behaviour as the 3D version, so the two views stay in sync while trading a rotatable camera for a plan you can read at a glance.
