This 2D companion draws the same honeybee colony as a flat top-down scene instead of a rotatable 3D hive: a hexagonal wax comb gradually fills with honey while a swarm of foraging bees wanders in front of it, and clicking drops a nectar marker that pulls nearby bees toward it for a few seconds, mimicking the recruitment a scout bee's waggle dance would trigger in a real colony. The swarm-activity and honey-production sliders drive the same underlying rates as the 3D version, so the two views stay behaviorally in sync while trading a mouse-orbit camera for a plan you can read at a glance.
