🪂 Cargo Parachute Airdrop: Terminal Velocity, Wind Drift and Release Point Lab

A transport aircraft drops relief pallets under one or more canopies onto a marked field: ISA air density, terminal speed v = sqrt(2mg/(rho CdA)), distance-based canopy inflation and opening shock, sheared and gusty wind drift, a computed release point, and crush-pad landing loads against cargo fragility. An experiment sweeps canopy diameter against the closed-form landing speed.
