Question: how large must the canopy be for this load to land below its safe speed, and does the simulation agree with v = sqrt(2 m g / (rho CdA))? The sweep drops the same load in still air from at least 450 m with canopy diameters 4 to 30 m and compares the measured landing speed with the closed form.
