This is the vertical-plane counterpart to the 3D microburst flythrough: the same idealized, continuity-consistent stagnation-flow wind field and the same real F-factor hazard index (Bowles, 1990), rendered as a quiver-plotted 2D cross-section — distance along the approach track versus altitude — with a scrolling telemetry strip chart tracking airspeed, vertical wind and F-factor through the encounter. The point-mass flight dynamics are integrated with a midpoint (RK2) stepper, and every wind vector drawn is recomputed live from the field equations, not a pre-baked texture.
