🚛 Heavy-Haul Transporter Lab: Axle Loads, Off-Tracking, Braking and Bridge Limits

Engineering of a generic heavy-haul tractor and multi-axle low-loader: axle loads by statics, equalising suspension, bridge formula, off-tracking and swept path, braking with weight transfer, jack-knife, rollover and climbing, with Blender-modelled 3D vehicles.

⚙ Under the hood

Engineering of a generic heavy-haul tractor and multi-axle low-loader carrying an excavator-like machine: axle and kingpin loads by statics with equalising or rigid suspension, the US bridge formula and span bending moment, off-tracking and swept path, braking weight transfer with ABS and jack-knife, climbing traction and rollover, with Blender 5.2 models. Unlike the electric heavy truck lab (payload, range, regeneration), this one is about load distribution, turning geometry, braking stability and infrastructure limits of a trailer combination.
