This 2D companion runs the same percentile-bootstrap mechanic as the 3D original on a plain Canvas2D chart: pick a population shape and a statistic, draw a sample, then resample it with replacement thousands of times to build an empirical sampling distribution and read its percentile confidence interval directly off the histogram.

⚙ Under the hood

Canvas2D bootstrap lab: resamples a fixed sample with replacement B times, computes the chosen statistic on each resample, and derives a percentile confidence interval from the sorted bootstrap distribution.
