CO₂ Sorbent Lattice — 3D
A 3D molecular-scale view of CO2 scrubber chemistry: watch CO2 molecules diffuse into a LiOH, amine or zeolite sorbent lattice and get captured site by site as the bed saturates, with capacity, saturation time and regenerability tracked live.
This is the molecular-scale companion to the 2D CO₂ scrubber chemistry lab: instead of a bed-level capacity curve, it renders the sorbent as a 3D lattice of individual capture sites and streams CO₂ molecules toward it, each one either bouncing off or locking into an open site depending on the selected chemistry's reaction kinetics. LiOH sites turn permanently solid once filled; amine and zeolite sites fill and, being regenerable in real hardware, could in principle be cleared again. Switch chemistry and temperature to see how differently LiOH, amine and zeolite lattices fill in space, not just in a chart.
