Stellar Interior Cross-Section (2D)

2D cross-section of a main-sequence star: drag the mass slider from a red dwarf to an O star and watch the fusion core, radiative zone and convective zone redraw themselves from real mass-luminosity-radius scaling relations, with a live hydrostatic-equilibrium force-balance chart alongside.

Every main-sequence star's internal layout is dictated by one number — its mass. This 2D canvas model rebuilds a star's cross-section live from real mass-luminosity and mass-radius scaling relations: drag the slider from a 0.1-solar-mass red dwarf to a 50-solar-mass O star and watch the fusion core, radiative zone and convective zone resize and even swap places, exactly as they do between real M dwarfs, the Sun, and O/B giants. A second chart plots the two sides of hydrostatic equilibrium — gravity pulling in, the pressure gradient pushing out — so you can see the balance that holds every one of these structures up.
