ECLSS Life Support Loop: 2D Flow & History Diagram

Interactive 2D top-down diagram of a space station's closed-loop life support system (ECLSS): watch color-coded O2, CO2, H2O and H2 flow around the electrolyzer-scrubber-Sabatier-tank loop, pan and zoom the diagram, and read cabin O2, CO2 and water reserve off a live mission-history strip chart the 3D version doesn't have.

This is the 2D companion to the 3D Space Station Life Support Loop simulator, computed independently rather than a flattened render of the 3D scene. It keeps the exact same closed-loop Environmental Control and Life Support System mass-balance model — a water electrolyzer splitting water into oxygen and hydrogen, a CO₂ scrubber pulling carbon dioxide from the cabin air, and a Sabatier reactor recombining that CO₂ with hydrogen to recover water — but presents it as a pannable, zoomable top-down flow diagram with color-coded particles for O₂, CO₂, H₂O, H₂ and vented CH₄, plus a live strip chart tracking cabin O₂, CO₂ and the water reserve across mission time that the 3D version has no space to show. Tune crew size, electrolyzer power, scrubber capacity and Sabatier efficiency and watch the loop either self-sustain or degrade, exactly as the real hardware would.
