Space Agriculture: Crop Yield & Resource Allocation (2D)

A top-down hydroponic bay where light, irrigation, nutrients and CO2 are each tuned independently — yield is governed by Liebig's Law of the Minimum, so the single weakest input caps every plot's growth, not the average of all four.

This 2D companion replaces the 3D original's decorative rotating-geometry dashboard with a real agronomic model: light, irrigation, nutrients and CO2 each have a crop-specific optimum and tolerance band, and every plot's growth rate is set by whichever of the four inputs sits furthest from its optimum — Liebig's Law of the Minimum — not by their average. Switch crops to see the optimum bands shift, and watch the "limiting factor" readout name the input actually holding yield back.

⚙ Under the hood

A 40-plot hydroponic grid where four environmental sliders each map to a per-crop optimum/tolerance curve; overall growth suitability is the minimum of the four factor scores, driving continuous per-plot growth, harvest and replanting.
