Lindblad Wake Map & Migration-Rate Curve

2D companion to the 3D Type I migration simulator: a co-rotating-frame density-wake heatmap on a radius/azimuth grid, plus a migration-rate-vs-semi-major-axis phase diagram, computed from the same Tanaka Lindblad-torque formula.

This is a 2D-native companion to the 3D Type I migration simulator. Instead of orbiting a camera around a particle disk, it draws the same physics as two diagrams astrophysicists actually use: a corotating-frame density-wake heatmap computed directly on a radius/azimuth grid (a genuine 2D field, not particles viewed from above), and a migration-rate-vs-semi-major-axis phase curve that plots da/dt against orbital radius so you can see exactly where — if anywhere — the torque balance stalls or reverses. Both panels are driven by the identical Tanaka, Takeuchi & Ward (2002) linear Lindblad-torque formula and the same entropy-driven corotation-torque model as the 3D version, so tuning planet mass, the disk's surface-density slope, its aspect ratio, or the corotation toggle updates both the wake's shape and the rate curve together in real time.
