Mission Radiation Dose Planner (2D)

2D top-down version: pick an orbit, a mission length and a point in the 11-year solar cycle, then watch cumulative radiation dose build up from trapped Van Allen particles, galactic cosmic rays and solar particle events.

This 2D companion runs the exact same radiation-dose model as the 3D version — trapped-belt exposure fixed by orbit geometry, a galactic-cosmic-ray background that gets weaker at solar maximum, and randomly-timed solar-particle-event spikes that grow more frequent near solar maximum — drawn as a flat top-down view of Earth, its belts, the Sun and an orbiting spacecraft, so the same physics reads clearly on a plain canvas.
