ISS Orbit Simulator (2D)
Interactive 2D top-down ISS orbit and ground-track simulator: adjust altitude and orbital inclination and watch real Kepler orbital-mechanics readouts for period and velocity update live.
This 2D top-down simulator propagates the International Space Station's low Earth orbit using real Kepler orbital mechanics: raise the altitude slider and watch the orbital period and velocity update live from T = 2π√(a³/μ) and v = √(μ/a), or change the inclination to see the projected orbit and ground track sweep between different latitude bands. A rotating Earth disc, a dashed orbit ellipse and a live ground-track curve make the ISS's real ~92.7-minute, 7.66 km/s orbit at 400 km and 51.6° inclination easy to see from directly above the pole.
A 2D top-down ISS orbit and ground-track simulator with adjustable altitude and inclination, driven by real Kepler orbital-mechanics equations for period and velocity.
