This 2D simulator plots torque against RPM for an electric motor and a gasoline internal combustion engine on one shared graph, driven by a single throttle slider so the two power trains face the exact same demand. The electric motor's curve stays nearly flat from a standstill, matching real EV behaviour where peak torque is available instantly, while the combustion engine's curve rises and falls in a bell shape around its power band, needing revolutions to build torque the way a real gasoline engine does. Live readouts track RPM, torque, power and efficiency for both, using realistic figures — roughly 85–95% for the electric motor versus 20–35% thermal efficiency for the combustion engine — and an auto-sweep mode traces the full curve automatically so the shapes are easy to compare at a glance.
