Sound Wave Interference: Two-Source Acoustic Field (2D)

2D acoustic interference lab: two coherent point sources with independently tunable frequency, phase and amplitude, a live pressure-field heatmap with real 1/r falloff, and a draggable probe reading path difference, relative dB and beat frequency.

This 2D companion replaces the 3D version's orbiting mesh with a top-down pressure-field heatmap driven by the real acoustic superposition formula — two independently tunable sources (frequency, phase and relative amplitude) with genuine 1/r spherical falloff, plus a draggable probe that reads back the exact path difference, interference order, relative sound level in dB and beat frequency at whatever point you drop it, so the abstract "constructive vs. destructive" idea becomes a number you can watch change as you drag.
