Phased Array Near-Field Wave Interference (2D)

2D simulator: watch real wave interference from a phased antenna array in near-field space, computed via Huygens' principle, while the same phase and spacing drive a live far-field array-factor polar plot.

Most antenna-pattern visualizers only show the abstract far-field polar plot. This 2D canvas simulator instead computes the real near-field wave interference from every array element -- summing each element's travelling wavefront pixel by pixel via Huygens' principle -- so you can literally watch constructive and destructive interference in space form the beam. The same element count, spacing and progressive phase simultaneously drive a live far-field array-factor polar plot underneath, bridging the near-field wave picture and the classic far-field radiation pattern in one view.

⚙ Under the hood

A 2D companion to the 3D antenna radiation-pattern visualizer: instead of only plotting the abstract far-field polar gain curve, this view directly simulates the near-field wave interference from each array element -- animated circular wavefronts summed pixel by pixel via Huygens' principle -- while the same element count, spacing and progressive phase you set also drive a live array-factor polar plot, so you watch constructive and destructive interference in real space build the far-field beam instead of just reading its final shape.
