Collaborative robots ("cobots") are built to work directly alongside people on the factory floor, without the fences that guard traditional industrial robots. This simulator visualizes the real safety technique that makes that possible: ISO/TS 15066's Speed and Separation Monitoring. Drag the human operator toward and away from the working robot arm and watch the robot's speed scale down through a yellow slow-down zone and, at the minimum protective distance, drop to zero in a red-zone protective stop — with a live graph tracking robot speed against time.
